Why did you start Top Talent Training?
I feel so lucky to have bundled my years of corporate experience into succinct and meaningful programs for leaders. There is truly nothing I love more than helping others to reach their full potential.
How are expectations of leadership shifting post-pandemic:
In the post-pandemic era and beyond, leadership expectations have undergone a significant transformation. Leaders are now valued for their empathy, adaptability, and resilience, particularly in managing remote and hybrid teams. Diversity, equity, and inclusion also continues to take center stage, and digital proficiency is imperative. Transparent communication, purpose-driven leadership, and continuous learning are also key facets of modern leadership. Moreover, leaders must foster innovation and agility while championing employee well-being and maintaining a strong sense of purpose in the workplace. Navigating this evolving landscape requires a dynamic and holistic approach to leadership.
What is the one thing you would want all top talent to know?
Thatās a tricky question! I think it is important for leaders at all levels to remember that there is always room to grow. Leadership is about self-improvement, human connection, fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration to achieve strategic imperatives and so much more. As workplaces and employees evolve there is always something new to be learned.
How would you describe your personal leadership style?
I am first and foremost a human-centric leader. I know from experience that people perform at their best when they feel understood, supported, safe and challenged in their role. Empathetic leadership is contagious, and Iām passionate about constantly building on these foundational interpersonal skills.
